Possible Kerry Un-concession Hoax
This showed up on an anti-Bush blog calling itself the Democratic Movement for Justice (warning: PJADAA) and also has been circulating quietly among members of MoveOn.org and their sympathizers.
The only problem: it is very likely a hoax, for these reasons:
The allegations in question are nothing new. But in my experience, those who scream the loudest about any kind of fraud are guilty of it themselves, or worse yet, are trying to perpetrate a fraud in the very allegation of fraud. Read the message, try to find the "Butler Law Firm" if you can, and decide for yourselves whether this is a perfect example.
The only problem: it is very likely a hoax, for these reasons:
- The name Cynthia L. Butler appears twelve times in electronic directories in Washington, DC--but not in any attorney directories that I have found.
- The address she gives for the "Butler Law Firm, PC" turns out to be the address of a drug and alcohol abuse counselor.
