Bush Picks Kerik for Homeland Security Job

Well, here it is, courtesy of Reuters, as quoted by ABC News. He was, of course, New York's commissioner of police on September 11, so perhaps he brings the direct experience that the Secretaryship of Homeland Security needs. I'm glad he didn't pick Asa Hutchinson; that man is not qualified. I would have preferred Rudy Giuliani--but maybe the former Mayor will run for the Senate in a rematch against Hillary. Who can tell?
