Did Teresa Heinz just call her second husband an idiot?

Actually, she said, "The job of a political spouse is to say, 'Hey, idiot...' It enables the partner to remind the person of who they are--or were--and of the sudden discrepancies of that person's inner core."

Well, arguably the job of any good wife is to advise and consent. But--"idiot"?

Once again, I'm glad she is not the next First Lady of the United States.
